Find recovery opportunities
Use ClaimDS Smart to surface recoverable cash — margin leakage, aged overdue claims, and a rolled-up view of what's recoverable and at risk — all computed from your own data.
The hardest part of recovering money in a channel business is seeing it — leakage hides across thousands of claims and deductions. The Smart cash-recovery tools surface it: where margin is leaking, what's overdue, and how much is recoverable, all computed from your own data.
Three views, one job
The cash-recovery tools work together. Opportunities is the rollup — recoverable and at-risk amounts in one place. Margin leakage shows where value is being lost. Recovery aging ages the overdue items so you chase the oldest first. Start at the rollup, then drill in.
Find and recover
Follow the numbered steps below. Smart identifies the opportunity; you recover it through the normal claims and settlement flows. For how Smart computes these figures, see how Smart insights work.
Step-by-step
Open the Smart area
Go to Smart. The cash-recovery tools are grouped together — margin leakage, recovery aging, and the opportunities rollup that ties them together.
Start with the opportunities rollup
Open Opportunities for the big picture — the recoverable and at-risk amounts across your workspace in one place. It's the fastest way to see where attention is worth spending.
Drill into margin leakage
Open Margin leakage to see where margin is being lost — for example claims or schemes that haven't been recovered. Each figure is computed from your data, with a plain-language explanation of what it represents.
Work the recovery aging
Open Recovery aging to see overdue claims and settlements aged by how long they've been outstanding. Like an accounts-receivable aging, the oldest items are usually the ones most worth chasing.
Act through the normal flows
Smart points you at what to recover; you act on it through the usual ClaimDS flows — raising or pursuing the claim, reconciling it, and settling. Smart finds the opportunity; the product recovers it.
Frequently asked
Are these recovery numbers reliable?
Yes — they're computed from your own claims and settlement data using ordinary calculations, not estimated by an AI. The AI only explains what each number means.
Why don't I see the Smart tools?
Smart is a subscription-gated tier. If the tools aren't visible, check your plan under Settings → Billing.
